The Mayr House
The deed is actually a land contract and in part, reads: “It is understood and agreed that purchasers are to make all alterations or remove any and all buildings or any or all of the improvements now on property herein described and that said purchasers may remove any and all shrubs, trees or plants.” Whatever stood on the lot was removed.
The Mayrs built the mid-century modern home in 1958 and resided here until 2015, when it was sold to Ray Kahler and Callie White.
The home is on the City’s Historic Register.
