The Hood/Isaacson House
The Hood family built the house in 1907. It is one of two prairie-style homes in the city (in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright) (the other is the house at 804 North K Street) and both were designed by the local architectural firm of Reid & Burrows. L.G. and Aurilla Isaacson purchased the house in 1923. L.G. (Leonard) was president of the L.G. Isaacson Company, suppliers of all manner of logging and rope equipment, which is still in business today. The house is still owned and occupied by the Isaacson family.
The carport is not original to the house.
