The Legend of the Critters
In the fall of 1998, local environmental activists met under the Wishkah River Bridge and created an organization dedicated to preservation of the rare and endangered species of Grays Harbor. Forgotten Remnants of Grays Harbor (FROGH) has tirelessly documented the conditions of these remarkable, forgotten creatures. The specimens found through downtown Aberdeen are a painstaking recreation of the actual creatures. FROGH hopes the displays will help raise awareness so that rare and endangered species will never face extinction.
You can help! Be a Spotter! If you see any of the species, notify FROGH at their yearly meeting in Zelasko Park on February 30th, 5:38 PM (exactly) or donate by placing coins atop any creature.
