In honor of the new wing of St. Joseph’s Hospital (now Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital - East Campus), Louis Benanto, Jr., carved the 9-ft. statute from a cedar log in 1974. The new wing of the hospital was dedicated on June 30, 1974.
